

She was born July 20, 1946, in Bloomington, the daughter of Charles Edmund and Marie Susan (Mahan) Carr. On October 16, 1965, she married the love of her life, Donald Snow, beginning a beautiful journey of nearly 61 years together. After a lifetime spent side by side, her devoted husband followed her in death just eleven days later, their love story continuing beyond this life.
Surviving are her four children: Tina (Ken) Holliger; Eric (Kris) Snow; Donald Jr. (Stacey) Snow; and Tanya (Scott) Erbe, all of Bloomington. She was a proud and devoted grandma to Cory (Tory) Snow, Ashley (Tim) McDonald, Kinzie (Dani) Washington, Zach Snow, Keelin Erbe, Jordan Snow, Travis Mitchell and Megan Houston; and a cherished great-grandmother to Darrion, Jocelyn, Carter, Harper, Jourdyn, Journee, Kiara, and Myla. She is also survived by her brother, Chris Carr of Kansas City, Missouri, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and three brothers.
Rose devoted her life to her family. Her home was the heart of countless gatherings, filled with laughter, warmth, and the comfort only she could provide. She was the steady presence everyone could rely on — a source of strength, kindness, and unconditional love. Her legacy will live on in the family and friends she cherished so deeply and the countless memories they made.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered in the hearts of those who knew her.
A memorial visitation honoring Don and Rose’s nearly 61 years of love and devotion will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Monday, March 16, 2026 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
