

Rosemary was born on August 14, 1930 in Avoca, Iowa, the daughter of Hans and Mary Harder. She married Everett Bauer on December 24, 1950 after knowing him since she was 5 years old. She and Everett lived in several states for his job as a professor. She worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone and Union Pacific Railroad both in Omaha, NE, when they moved to Illinois and was a secretary for the President of Illinois State University. Everett passed away on December 9, 2011.
She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, traveling overseas and cooking, but the greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons; Gregg and Brian; grandsons, Matt and Michael.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett and her siblings; Max, Francis, Eleanor and Anita.
Visitation will be held Tuesday September 13, 2016 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport road, Bloomington, IL. Funeral services will be held Friday September 16, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the Mausoleum in East Lawn Memorial Gardens Rev. Christine McNeal will be officiating.
Her family would like to thank the staff at McLean County Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided their mother for the past 5 years.
