Ruth Flumenbaum, 85, of Normal, formerly of Florida, passed away at 2:05 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2011 at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal.
She was born November 27, 1926 in New York City, NY, daughter of Julius and Sera Katz Pollack. She married Norman Flumenbaum, he preceded her in death in 1990. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Andrea Kyle; two great-grandchildren, Jacob & Caitlyn Haas; one sister and one brother.
Surviving are two daughters, Audrey (Jim) Hetherington of Normal and Terry (Ricky) Famigletti of Bayville, NY. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Avoca Cemetery in Fairbury. East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
