

Born September 15, 1941, in Springfield, Illinois, to Ralph Belval and Felicia Marcy. Sharon resided in Bloomington, Illinois.
On August 13, 1960, Sharon married the love of her life, Leon R. Blain. Together, they shared a life of love and devotion, building a family and a home grounded in care for one another.
Sharon retired from District 87 School system as an administrative secretary after 20 plus years. She loved working with all the staff, making lifelong friends along the way.
Sharon was also a full-blown Hockey Mom, taking her three sons to practice and games every week. Sacrificing her time to enrich the lives of her children.
She loved family and friends. Hosting holidays and events at her house bringing everyone together.
Her and her husband enjoyed volunteering at charitable events and giving to people in need.
Sharon is survived by her children, Mark Blain, Michael Blain, and Matthew Blain; her grandchildren, Jordan Blain, Macie Monroe, Moriah Blain, Megan Long, Emma Killian, Cadence and Ryder; great-grandchildren, Malakai, Truett and Jase, along with a host of family and friends. She was a beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her and will be remembered with deep respect and affection.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one granddaughter, Riley Blain.
A memorial visitation will be held at East Lawn Funeral Home a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
