Sharon was born November 8, 1940, in Galesburg, IL, the daughter of James B and Vivienne M. Hallberg Wood.
Surviving are one sister, Becky Wood of Bloomington; a niece, Kim (Kris) Meyer of Andalusia, IL; a nephew, Chris (Monica) Nyman of Bloomington; four great nieces and nephews, Kylie; Kenzie; Ridley; and Caden. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Bobby Stewart.
Sharon enjoyed golfing and gardening.
Per Sharon’s wishes, cremation has been accorded. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Galesburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mclean County Humane Society. Online condolences may be shared with the family at eastlawn-bloomington.com
