She was born September 3, 1971 in Normal to Stanley H. and Carol L. (McAtee) Powell.
Susan loved being with her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother: Carol Powell of Bloomington; husband: Carl Claycomb; kids: Bradley Powell of Bloomington, Eric Claycomb of Mackinaw, Carl Jr. Claycomb of Mackinaw, Aaron Claycomb of Durango, CO, Chad Claycomb of Durango, CO, Ryan Claycomb of Durango, Co; grandson: Bradley Kyle Powell The Second; siblings: Scott (Kelli) Powell of Bloomington, Gregory Powell of Bloomington, Steven Powell of Bloomington, Bryant Powell of Bloomington, Timothy (Kathy) Powell of Mackinaw; In-laws: Debbie and Dewey Claycomb of Bloomington and George, Tammy and Missy Claycomb of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father; and a son: Gavin.
Visitation will be from 10am until the 12noon service on Friday October 4, 2013 at East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Rd., Bloomington, IL 61704. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Randy Perry will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
