Suzann Betty Lane

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 15, 2025 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a veteran or military designation of the donor's choice to assist our military men and women.

She was born February 27, 1941 in Bloomington, daughter of Eldred Gilbert Jr and Marjorie Mae Vandegraft Graves. She married Harry D. Lane, he preceded her in death on May 16, 2006. Since Harry's passing, she has spent more than 15 years with the new love of her life, Richard Arnold.

Surviving is her companion, with whom she made her home, Richard Arnold and one son, Robert Scott Northcutt, Phoenix, AZ. She also leaves behind a handful of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother and two sisters.

Suzann worked for Eureka Company for many years until her retirement in 2003.

She loved aquatic fish and over the years had many fresh-water fish tanks around her home. She enjoyed watching her aquariums and maintaining them.

Anyone that knew Suzann will fondly remember her for her kind heart and how loving and accepting of others she was.
