She was born to Brenda Riley and Mack Saxon on the Fourth of July, 1990, in Kankakee, IL.
Tamika will be deeply missed by her mother Brenda of Bloomington; sisters: Tenille Saxon of Birmingham, AL, Tenisha Saxon of Atlanta, GA, Tania Saxon of Indianapolis, IN, Meckala Saxon of Chicago, IL; brothers, Mack Saxon of S. Dakota, Jaquan and Cameron Saxon of Creek Monee, IL, Quincy Bender of Kankakee, IL; grandfather, Henry Williams of Kankakee; grandmother, Joanne Saxon of Kankakee; her dear aunt, Joy (Maurice) Smalls; and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
She is joined in heaven by her brother, Martreal Riley, her grandmother, Alice Riley, and she is also joined by her cousin, Rashawn Saxon.
Tamika loved being around family and friends. She was a very loving and caring person: always smiling and laughing and joking around. She had a passion for dancing, cooking and sewing.
A celebration of life in Tamika’s honor will be held at a later date.
