Christine departed this world Wednesday, June 25th, 2014 from OSF hospital in Peoria, IL. Christine is survived by Caleb and Charlie Smith (Grandchildren) of Pekin, IL, James Sumner (Nephew) of Stanford, IL, and Alexis Oatman (Great Niece) of Lewiston, IL. T. Christine Smith was born on June 8th 1933. She represented Jesus Christ in the way she cared for family and friends. Christine showed her love of Christ through her generous personality for anyone in need. Christine enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her Great Grandson Elijah Powers Smith who turned one year old the day she went to be with Jesus. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, baking, and spending time working in the yard. Christine is preceded in death by Jack Miller Smith (Husband), Powers Jack Smith (Son), Beatrice Sumner (Mother), Caleb Sumner (Father), and Donald Sumner (Brother).
Private Family Services were held.
