Tyler was educated in the Chenoa Schools and graduated Parkland College, with a degree in CAD operation and design. Tyler was a self-employed entrepreneur, and worked in many lines of work over the years. His favorite line was being a farrier for horses. He loved the strong, quiet comfort the animals brought to his life.
He is survived by his mother of Chenoa; a sister Amanda (Anders) Buus Thomsen of Kiowa, Kansas; paternal grandmother Shari Worthington of Pontiac, as well as many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Prima, who was the light of his life, as he raised her from a puppy.
He is preceded in death by his father; paternal grandfather Bill Worthington; maternal grandparents, Don and Helen Masching; and a nephew Asbjorn Joseph Buus Thomsen.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chenoa. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services at the church.
