William O. Forbes, 84, formerly of Clinton, passed away 2:25 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
He was born February 15, 1928 in De Witt, son of Ollie and Rose R. Likins Forbes.
Bill was a United States Army Veteran.
Surviving is one nephew, Ray Groves of West Virginia.
Cremation rites have been accorded. East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington is handling arrangements. Inurnment will be at De Witt Cemetery at a later date.
