

Her visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday July 25, 2024 at East lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. Funeral services will follow.
She was born Dec. 27, 1934, in Morton, Illinois, a daughter of Charles and Goldie Amerman.
She married Henry L. Powell from Peoria on Sept. 24, 1957.
She is also survived by five daughters, Wendy (Brian) Havron, Lincoln; Cindy Wilburn, Bloomington; Julie (Ken) Tuttle, Lexington; Tina Holliger, Bloomington; and Patricia Powell, Lincoln; two sons, Mark (Pam) Powell, Normal, and Matt (Kelly) Powell, Bloomington; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one sister, Carole Kay (Bob) Fenwick, and one brother, Darrell (Christine) Amerman. She had many nieces and nephews that adored her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one great grand-son, five sisters and two brothers.
Yvonne was a homemaker who loved the simple things in life. She loved being a country girl driving trucks, enjoying burgers and an occasional beer.
She was a kind, loving wife, mother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
