

Anna M. Messimore, age 74, of Bloomington, died Wednesday morning at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born July 23, 1938 in Naples, Italy, she was the daughter of Aurturo and Maria Christina (Milmie) Sollo. She was retired as a nurse’s aid with the Bloomington Convalescent Center and later at Garden Villa. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her sons; John A. Messimore, of Springville, Indiana and Wilbur G. Messimore, Jr., of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Joseph A. Hatton, Kelly Jean Hopkins and Harvey W. Hopkins; two brothers, Pasquele and Paul Sollo, both of Naples, Italy and two sisters, Ilva Marino and Gilda Passaro, both of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur G. Messimore, Sr. on May 31, 1996, two daughters, Gayle Griffith and Patricia Hopkins, one brother, Attire Sollo and one sister, Angello Sollo.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17 at 1:30 P.M. at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 10:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Friday.
