Barbara Ann Clay

Barbara Ann Clay, 80 of Bloomfield died Monday August 10, 2015 in I.U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. She was born October 19, 1934 in Michigan to Alden Coon and Alice Bidwell Coon. She was a stay at home mom and enjoyed taking care of her family as well as gardening and collecting. Her collections included angels, bears and dishes.

Survivors include ten children, Lila Michael of Bloomington, John Coon of Bloomfield, Alice Evans of Bloomington, plus seven who were adopted, Pat, Phyllis, Bruce, Eva, Patrick, Mark and Donald; a brother, John Coon (Susan) of Indian River, MI; a sister, Linda of Petoskey, MI; thirty five grandchildren; and twenty one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Phillip Oliver Clay; a granddaughter, Barbara Richardson; and a son-in-law, Mark Evans.

There are no services scheduled. Burial will be at a later date in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
