Betty Jean Trenta

Betty Jean Trenta of Bloomington, passed away on December 17, 2015 in Garden Villa. She was the daughter of the late Vic Stallings and Ivy (Stewart) Stallings Wade, born on January 28, 1927 in Bloomington. Betty was a clerk for many years at Hook’s Drug Store. She was married to Carl R. Trenta in 1945 for 62 happy years. Carl preceded her in death in 2002. Carl and Betty loved to travel and play cards with their “gang” of friends; the Hedricks, Hays, Browns and Meadows. They all enjoyed dancing and loved Big Band music. Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Mark and Joyce Trenta, two grandchildren: Jeremy Trenta and Kristie English and two great-grandchildren: Emily and Elissa English. There will be an immediate burial in Valhalla Memory Gardens on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 1 p.m. Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel are entrusted with arrangements.
