Carolyn Sue Sexton

Carolyn Sue Sexton of Bloomington, passed away on November 2, 2015 in I.U. Health Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Wayne and Pearl Marie(Butcher)Foster, born on December 7, 1931 in Monroe County. Carolyn married William Alva Sexton on October 20, 1950 in Bloomington, IN. She was retired from Food Services with the Monroe County Schools. Carolyn was a member of the Red Hat Society and the North Central Church of Christ. She loved watching birds and arts and crafts. Carolyn is survived by her three sons and their wives: Dan(Melanie)Sexton of Sierra Vista, AZ, James(Kathleen)Sexton of Denver, CO and Scott(Rhonda)Sexton of Bloomington, IN. and one brother: Gary Dean Foster of Bloomington, IN

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband William, and two brothers: Don and David Foster. Friends may visit the family Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike, Bloomington, IN 47404. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Clay Humphreys officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
