Growing up I cannot remember a time when Daryl Buck was not around. He was always taking care of us Evans girls. He was my mother Eunice Evans younger brother. He was only 8 years older then my oldest sister. He was more like a brother then an uncle because he was always there with us growing up. He used to call me and my two sisters Shi,  Cai, and Lai..... short for Sherri Cathy and Laura! We always laughed about that. My childhood has many good memories with Daryl in them. My heart goes out to all of his family who is hurting at this time. God has blessed him with a good life a wonderful wife and many people who love him. I have heard so many people say that he was the type of man that if you were ever broke down on the side of the road he would be the one to pull over and help. He would give you the shirt off his back if needed. This was my uncle and I am so proud to call him my uncle! He will be deeply missed by so many people.😭😭💔

To the man that taught us everything that we are today.. He was always there when I needed him the most so caring and loving and would do anything for us. He taught me so many things how to love how to feel safe And he never gave up on me. He made me laugh all the time but he also was Stern  when I needed it. He always taught me how to go after what I wanted in life and always stand up for myself.  You will be truly missed. Thank you for teaching me so many values that I needed to survive in my world.  You  Will always be our  Saving Grace.I love you Uncle Daryl.   ❤❤❤

I have so many fond memories of my Uncle Daryl! One that stands out the most is how often he made me laugh. Growing up throughout my childhood experiencing hurt,pain and resentment, my Uncle Daryl showed me love,  joy,compassion and happiness and  was always there when I needed him the most. I am living testimony that love can heal hurt. Uncle Daryl instilled values in me early on and is a huge part of what I am today. He was my shelter, my safe haven, and my saving grace.

Daryl was one of the hardest working men I knew. Working right beside him several years, he was always ready to help in any way he could, no matter how far he had to go to help you. Seven years as a union plasterer myself, One quickly realized, No one ever, beat Daryl to the job site, ever! I have no doubt, as I am sure all of us, who worked with Daryl over the years,  knows Daryl Earned a good spot in Heaven, as his heart was Always in the right place.
