Dorothy Louise Sturgeon Arnold

Dorothy Louise Arnold, 83, of Ellettsville, IN passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012. She was born November 22, 1928 in Monroe County, IN the daughter of the late Homer and Della Sturgeon. Dorothy was a member of Family Life Church in Ellettsville, IN. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Dorothy is survived by her three daughters, Brenda (Tim) Campbell, Sue (John) Lemon, and Sherry (Rick) Whiteman; her son, Sam (Betty) Arnold; three brothers, Charles Sturgeon, Terry (Betty) Sturgeon, and Donny (Pat) Jenkins; a sister, Betty Hamm; three granddaughters, Brandi (Tim) English, Courtney (Justin) Burris, and Amber (Tyler) Summitt; three grandsons, Cody, Christian, and Caleb Whiteman; six great-granddaughters, Ashlee, Hallee, Cydney, Cloey, Preslee, and Cylvey; and five great-grandsons, Dalton, Daylon, Drake, Tristen, and Colton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Edward Arnold; a brother, Gene Sturgeon, and a sister, Chrystal May. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary. Memorial donations may be made to Family Life Church.
