I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Payne's passing while I was out of town, and to miss her service. I have wonderful memories of being at her house in my childhood as I would pal around with my close friends, Joyce & Betty. I remember her introducing me to Pepsi -- one of my first experiences with soda pop--and how super-sweet it was. I also remember fondly her playing her guitar and singing to us kids such numbers as "Bill Grogan's Goat" and "In My Adobe Hacienda." And I loved the colored glass embedded in the bricks on the front porch. Sweet memories. I know she will be missed. My deepest sympathies to Juawon, Joyce, Betty, and Patsy. God bless you all.

My Mamaw was a very lovely person. She was always there for me. Always feeding me when I was hungry and would pray for me if I was sick or upset. I love my Mamaw so much!! I am so glad I had the time with her that I did.
Rest In Heaven Mamaw!!!
