
Glen “Ed” Hudson, age 81, of Bloomington, died Monday morning at Garden Villa Health Care in Bloomington. Born June 26, 1930 in Bloomington, he was the son of Elbert and Irene (Whaley) Hudson. He retired from R.C.A. where he was a quality control inspector. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. He loved music and also loved to dance and sing. He had formerly performed in the productions of Towne Theater.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Ginny (Fipps) Hudson, of Bloomington and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James. R. Hudson and one sister, Phyllis Ann (Hudson) Rice.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel with Rev. Curtis Hurley officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
