

Harold Lloyd Aynes, 90, of Orlando, FL formerly of Bloomington, IN, passed away on May 20, 2017 in Orlando, FL. He was born August 3, 1926 in Bloomington, IN the son of the late Carson and Olive White Aynes.
Harold was a World War II Navy Veteran. He retired from the Bloomington Police Department as a homicide detective after 20 years of service. He was an expert fingerprint analysis. He also was the owner of Aynes Upholstery until 2005.
Harold was a member of Central Parkway Baptist Church in Orlando, FL. American Legion Post 18, Monroe Masonic Lodge # 22, and the Murat Shriners.
Harold enjoyed upholstery, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Treva Louise Freeman Day Aynes; his six children, Donna Sue Brosman, David Aynes, Daniel Aynes and his wife Marilyn, Balford “Gene” Day, Jr. and his wife Brenda, Clayton Day, and Douglas Day; sister-in-law, Melba Aynes; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana “Tina” Lou Aynes; and three brothers, Warren, Arthur Wayne, and Lawrence Aynes.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike. Inurnment will follow at Gross Cemetery.
