Jean L. Beauchamp Bennett

Jean L. Bennett, 91 of Bloomington, Indiana passed away on June 17, 2013 at the Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center in Ellettsville, Indiana. She was born on July 31, 1921 in Frankfort, Indiana the daughter of the late Dimmer and Lois Beauchamp. She along with her late husband, Harold “Doc” Bennett were owners of the Bennett Stone Company in Bloomington, Indiana. Jean was a member of Stoneybrook Community Church of God. Survivors: brother, Lloyd (Sue) Beauchamp of Frankfort, Indiana; 2 nieces, Kathy (Ron) Deremiah of Indianapolis, Indiana and Ronda (James) Reese of Westerville, Ohio; 7 nephews, John (Phyllis) Garhart of Kokomo, Indiana, Terry (Debra) Beauchamp of Kokomo, Indiana , Rodney (Susan)Beauchamp of Michigantown, Indiana , Randy Beauchamp of Frankfort, Indiana, John “JT” Sparks of Indianapolis, Indiana, Terry Rone and Richard Bennett both of Bloomington, Indiana; several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis Bennett and a sister Nola Kelly. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary 700 Gourley Pike Bloomington, Indiana. Celebration of Life Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. . Reverends Steve McCart, David Eudaly and Roland Holtsclaw will officiate. Entombment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
