OBITUARY
Joyce Elaine (McClees) Kramer
June 2, 1943 – August 2, 2021
Joyce Elaine Kramer, 78, of Bloomington, IN passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. She was born June 2, 1943 in Boyne City, Michigan the daughter of the late Treva and Claude McClees.
Joyce graduated from Boyne City High School, she then attended Northwestern College. While at Northwestern College in 1962, she met the love of her life Frederick Kramer. They married November 9, 1963.
Joyce was a member of the Bloomington Highland Ward, Latter-day Saints. She was also a member of the Sunshine Girls Extension Homemaker Club, and several bowling leagues. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Frederick Kramer; her son, Dennis L. Kramer of Bloomington, IN; her two daughters, Karen Kramer Strachan of Bloomington, IN and Melissa J. (Tyler) Waite of Lake Stevens, Washington; three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jocelyn, and Penelope Waite; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, Wayne, and Joseph McClees and a sister, Sue McNees.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 6, 2021 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Her final resting place will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
