

Kyle Shane Turpin, 47, of Bloomington died Friday morning, April 28, 2017 in I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born September 23, 1969 in Bedford to Randy Turpin and Shona Goodman Turpin. He was a hair stylist at the Boomerang Salon.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Randy and Diana Turpin of Bedford; his mother, Shona Goodman Turpin of Bloomington; a brother, Jason Turpin of Bloomington; step brothers, James Walls of Springville and Bryan Walls (wife Crystal) of Bloomington; a step sister, Shelly Chronister (husband Tracy) of Bloomington; two special nephews, Eli and Jack Turpin of Bloomington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Kyle was a free spirit, an artist and a landscaper. Kyle loved his dogs and was loved by all who knew him.
There will be a Celebration of Life and Gathering of Family and Friends on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the Community Building at the Monroe County Fairgrounds with Barry Southern and Greg Bell speaking at 7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel.
