Louise Thompson Newman

Louise “Beady” Newman died Monday, February 27 in Bloomington, IN at the age of 93. Beady was born December 10, 1918 in Wheatland, Indiana to Joseph Sydney and Grace (Cain) Thompson. She worked at Alden and Wasson Dept. Stores. She was a member of the Eastview Church of the Nazarene.

Beady was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. Newman and her son, Jimmie Joe Newman. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Newman; Grandchildren, Tamera Machango and husband, Mike, Jill Escobedo and husband Rocky, and Dennis Joe Newman; Great-grandchildren, Courtney Hamblen, James Matthew Newman, Jacob Machango, Thomas Ryan Newman, Chase Machango, and Jennifer Newman, all of Bloomington; Nieces, Barbara Alsman, of Gahanna, OH and Marlene Walters, of Owensboro, KY, Brother and Sister-in-law, George and Evelyn Newman and the extended Newman family of Vincennes, IN and many good and dear friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel with Pastor Curtis Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
