

Marcia “Ann” White, age 79, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday morning at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born December 19, 1933 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Cephas C. and Goldie I. (Richardson) Galloway.
She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ and a Sunday school teacher for 32 years, a gifted cook, a real people person who loved the outdoors and spending time with her family. Ann worked at ARA Vending Service for 20 years and from 1986 to 2002, she and her husband, Irvin, owned and operated Ann’s Flower Patch on W. Kirkwood while at the same time helping Irvin deliver newspapers for the Herald-Times. She and Irvin continued that route until July, 2013.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Irvin L. White, of Bloomington, whom she married on April 25, 1952; her son and daughter-in-law, Perry K. and Debbie White; of Indianapolis; her three daughters and sons-in-law, Terri L. and Wil Johnston, of Bloomington, Sherri A. and Randy McQueen, of Solsberry and Karen J. and Steve Byers, of Bloomington; ten grandchildren, Matt, Justin, Jacob, Joshua, Kyle, Amanda, Lindsey, Zachary, Skylar, and Brianna; seven great-grandchildren, Wesley, Haley, Malorie, Gabriel, Seth, Hannah, and Steven; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Connie Kay and Lynn Dillon, of Bloomington and Nancy L. Carter, of Lansing, Michigan and one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Peggy and Mike Bright, also of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother in infancy, Harry Lee Galloway, one sister, Janet Sue Sieboldt and several aunts and uncles.
The funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:30 P.M. at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel with Brothers Keevin Gray and Justin Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M.
