

Mary A. Davis, age 93, of Bloomington, died Saturday morning at the Golden Living Center in Bloomington. Born November 5, 1919 in Brown County, Indiana, she was the daughter of John S. and Bertha (Griffin) Hyde. She was a homemaker and had attended the Free Methodist Church in Bloomington.
She is survived by her daughter; Judy Bond, of Bloomington; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lisa Davis, of Bloomington, one brother, Rex (Zella) Hyde, of Bloomington; one sister, Wilma Watson, of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Charles Davis and Nelson Davis, both of Washington state and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glen T. Davis, on Sept.12, 2004; two daughters in infancy; three brothers and three sisters, and her son-in-law, Bill Bond.
The funeral service will be 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel with Rev. Frank Helton officiating. Burial will follow the service in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral at 1:30 P.M.
The family suggests contributions be given to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana;
