

MILDRED WAMPLER, 92, of Bloomington, IN passed away on June 28th at Garden Villa after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). She was born in Greencastle, IN but lived in Bloomington until her retirement from the MCCSC at age 65. She then moved to Orlando, Fl where she lived for 20 years. Recently, she lived at Red Bud Hills but when she no longer could care for herself moved to Garden Villa.
She is survived by her three daughters Janet (Larry) Martin of Edgewater, MD, Linda (Brian) Mead of Goodyear, AZ, and Terri Wood of Bloomington, 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wampler, Jr., who owned Wampler Barber Shop in Bloomington and a stillborn son Jerry Keith.
Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2012 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
