

Sarah “Sally” Marie Bartlett DeMoss of Solsberry, departed from us on August 3, 2015. She was born on April 27, 1948 to roscoe Bartlett and Dessa Louise George Fox Bartlett McVey. Sally was a member of the American Legion, the Moose and had worked at Cook Inc for 39 years. She considered the people she worked with her second family and continued to communicate with them after retiring in January of this year. She always looked forward to the annual Cook Banquet and never missed one. She also loved family game night with her children and grandchildren and taking trips with her sisters, especially to French Lick and Evansville. Sally was a very social and fun loving person and will be dearly missed. Sally is survived by her husband Paul DeMoss, three daughters; Tina(Larry)Owings of Solsberry, Melissa “Missy”(Scott)Mclain and Tosha(Matt)Blevins of Ellettsville. She is also survived by one brother; Tommy(Sara Jean)Bartlett of Bloomington, six sisters; Mary Pfaff and Billie Joyce(Tim)Freeman of Spencer, Peggy Dembo of Alabama, Patty Sue(Noel)Robinson of Florida, Margaret Webb and Joann McCart of Bloomington, seven grandchildren; Ashley, James, Kayla, Jessica, Whitney, Dustin and Sarah, and five great-grandchildren; Clayton, Jacob, Kelsey, Zayden, Ahlayna and one more due in September. She was preceded in death by her parents and the dad that raised her; Robert “Pop” McVey, son; Robert “Bobby” Alexander, daughter; Ruthann Shelton, grandson; Adam Mclain, two brothers; Johnny Wilson and David Bartlett and one sister; Kathy Clark. Visitation will be held in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel on August 7, 2015 from 11-a.m. -1 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. The Rev. Richard Reed officiating. Interment in Valhalla Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.
