While I received the news a bit later than most, it came as a terrible surprise 2 me on Thursday night, that my friend Scott (Borden) had recently passed away. I just saw him a few weeks ago and had been tryin' 2 call & text him 4 some time, but was unable 2 reach him. I dedicated a song 2 him after I was given the news.

Scott was 1 O' the few people that could give me a hard time & not make me hate him 4 it. He was incredibly generous & fun 2 be around, and I sincerely hope that he is somewhere better than the rest O' us, right now.

Farewell my friend. U will be missed.

Scott and I were good friends in Middle school, I was always crazy about him. I caught up to him a few years ago when he was working at Wee
Willies, we had a good talk, so nice to catch up with a good friend. My Condolences to his family and friends, he was such a great guy and I'm sure he will be sadly missed.

I miss the sound of your laughter already, what joy you always brought to any room. Somehow it seems as if the world is not as bright. Scott, you were a shining light in an oftentimes difficult world. The courage and dignity you displayed under seemingly insurmountable challenges amazed me. Rest in peace dear friend. Eternally, Jody

Scott reminded me of Matthew 25:40 ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' Scott gave and gave and gave. His kindness will always be remembered and missed.

Condolences from my wife, Paula Douthitt, who passed away 10/19/10. She told me many stories about time she spent with Scott. She was very fond of him. I knew him as well, but didn't know him as well as I would have liked. Maybe Paula and Scott can catch up now, and have more fun and adventures!
