

Urbano, Agnes – 84 of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on Feb 16, 2012. Agnes was a long time resident of Boca Raton, FL. Born on July 1, 1927 in Naples Italy, where she was raised. As a young girl, she studied to become a nun until meeting Peter Urbano (deceased), at the age of 18. They were soon married and had a love that lasted over 63 years. Agnes moved to Pittsburgh, from Italy, with her husband and young son to raise their growing family. Upon retiring they moved to Florida in the early 1980’s . Agnes had a simple yet profound philosophy for a happy and fulfilling life. “You will never be poor as long as you have a loving family surrounding you”. Agnes was never alone, as her home was a magnet of love for her family, friends and neighbors. She will be always be remembered by all for her warmth and giving. Agnes loved to cook, it was her passion and everyone around her enjoyed her cooking. She enjoyed crocheting and traveled extensively. The most important enjoyment in her life, other than her husband and children was being able to raise her grandchildren, watch them grow and be proud of their accomplishments. Agnes had the biggest heart and was the kindest loving soul to walk this earth. Agnes was an active parishioner of the Ascension Catholic Church in Boca Raton. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her dearly. She is survived by her children, Lou (Sally) Urbano, Aggie (Walter) Wilk, Mary Anne (Conrad) Usher, Patricia (Paul) Combs and seven grandchildren, Adam, Rachel, Jenny, Peter, Melissa, Jared and Tyler and her sister Francis Bochicchio.
Visitation will take place on Sunday February 19th from 3-5 pm, with her being laid to rest on Monday February 20th at 11 am at The Gardens in Boca Raton.
