May you only remember
the colors of spring
the pure touch of snow,
the laughter and sunshine.

May you only remember 
the splendor of fall
the summerly breezes
your sweet youth enjoyed!
Oh how much            
we cherished you
child of honey and gold!
May you only remember
how deeply you are loved!

The kisses and sweetness 
of happy times gone;
the warm of embraces
and children's songs sang,
dewy glow of innocence
of your tender days;
the care for Love given
for keeping you safe.

A peace never ending
is guiding you now
all tears dried forever,
recovered your smile.
Now freer than ever 
in the place you are
your soul is restored,
renewed your heart.

May blessed be the steps
that take you to heaven;
now your sorrow gone
all the pain forgotten.

We embrace you with prayers
our hearts deeply broken
to comfort and guide you
to your blissful rest.
May you know  you are loved
like you always will
and you always were.

Make God hold your head
and make you forget
the tears that you shed.
And that joyful day
that we meet again
be your loving hand
the first one I hold
and your happy voice 
the first sound I hear
calling from above!
