Cristina and family, you are all in my prayers. Find strength in each other and draw from the love you all share. My heartfelt condolences on your loss. Though I never had the honor, I know the kind of daughter she raised. Cristina is a testament to the kind of loving, caring, and nurturing mother that Mrs. Barone was. She is at peace and with God. I pray your grief is replaced with loving memories of the happy times you all shared. God bless you all.

Today was the hardest day I have ever had to live through. I said the final good bye to my cousin and best friend, Alexandra. How do we all gone on without her? Her smile, her big heart,her wonderful laugh, her dinners, her parties, her HUGE Christmas trees and the 100's of decorations, our daily phone calls, our family gossip....all of it shared together since we were kids. She was truly a wonderful loving wife to Joe and the most caring mom to Sal, Cristina & Veronica.  But as many have written here, it was the love and happiness she gave to everyone who knew her,that made her so special and unforgetable. Her loss is something I will feel for the rest of my life. I thought we would grow old together. My consolation is that she no longer suffers or hurts and is at peace. She is with her mom and dad, our grandparents and all our other loved ones. To Joe, Sal, Cristina, Veronica, Dila and Giovanna, I will always be here for you. We have to keep all the love and kindness she gave to all of us, and continue to give it and share it as she would have wanted. I love you all, and I love you Al.

Dear Barone Family---we are heartsick to hear of Alexandra's passing..we raised our girls together from when they were little to the beautiful women they have become so so many memories of a wonderful woman, mother and friend. we are so sorry for your loss

We both know how close you two were and can only hope that all the good times and memories you shared will ease your pain during this most difficult time. Dear the Barone family..im so very sorry for your loss, i will always remember alexandra as a vibrant, happy , loving, family oriented, optimistic, fun person, we had countless talks a few years a ago when she came by to get her nails done and she was so beautiful inside and out.I dont think i ever saw her without a huge smile plastered across her face. Her pain and suffering are over and may she rest in peace and fly with the angels!

Al, may you rest in peace. You are missed so much as you can see, but we know that God needed his angel back by his side.

THe first time I met Alexandra she was dressed as an elf and I as a bumblebee. We hit it off immediately. Alexandra always welcomed us in her home like we were her own children. I cannot begin to express how saddened we are to hear of Alexandra's passing. She was a wonderful Friend and one of the most Caring mothers I ever met in my life. We raised our children together in Massapequa Park. There wasn't a Halloween that we didn't meet to take our daughters Veronica and Samantha trick or treating to make sure they were safe.
