Sending prayers and healing thoughts.

I met Allan and Denise in the late 1990’s when they were dating and he and I worked at Dalt’s Grill. Allan was the first bartender who didn’t yell at me when I didn’t put the drink orders correctly , and cheerfully explained the service bar to me. We have all remained friends over the years, and my husband Paul and Allan bonded as New Englander hockey players. This is such a sad loss. Attaching a picture for the grand opening at Elizabetta’s last year.

So many great memories with Al and his beautiful family. We met over 20 years ago coaching our kids in roller hockey on opposite teams but struck a bond instantly even though he was a Bruins fan! So many good times going to hockey games together and having him join us on the bench her a few games when his son played for the high school team I was coaching. Was so glad he was there to help us celebrate those championships and we will miss him dearly. Rest in peace Al.

I met in 2003 Allan at Deerfield Sports Mall, he was the coach of the U10 Roller Hockey team for my son Patrick and his son Dylan. Turns out his parents Martha and Gordon McClay lived 2 doors down from us on Lob Lolly Lane. The boys shot pucks in the driveway and it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship between the McClay's and the Doran's.
Soon the invites to the ultimate Super Bowel parties began at the McClay Sr. home, Allan helped us with the pool pump issues many a days and he was the man who gave my daughter Kelly her 1st pitcher of Margarita's at Rocco's Taco in Ft. Lauderdale on her 21st birthday. I remember when Allen went to see the Patriots in a Super Bowl game by himself. How lucky were the folks who sat next to him.
The best times are in Dave's back yard, Allan's best friend on Lob Lolly Lane. Allan in charge of the grill, hamburger's for all, Denise ready with the pasta, Melissa on dessert and no one went home without a Fireball thanks to Allan.
Our memories of you will always make us smile, peace be with you Allan. You have only slipped away to the room next door.
Regards and peace for your loving family,
Colleen Doran
