Anthony James Friscia, 91 of Boca Raton passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at his home. Anthony was born in Bayside, NY on January 7, 1926, a son of the late Biagio and Agnes Friscia. He was a proud veteran of World War II, who served in the United States Navy, and later became the successful owner of Joe’s Fish Market in Bayside for countless years. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Rosemarie, his daughter Rosemarie Peterson, and two grandchildren Jennifer and Michael. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church, 21689 Toledo Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33433 on July 21, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Anthony will be interred at South Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anthony’s memory to VITAS Hospice.
