I was married to Carl for 27 years, which left me with some good memories. Carl was very personable and was liked by many special people. Rest in peace Carl and perhaps, some day soon, we will meet again. Marie Adamo

The body cries tears and we often consider them sad tears when at times they are misinterpreted for they in fact are as tears of joy. Never thought I would think of the word joy in the same venue as death but when suffering occurs, we need to know that when someone is finally at rest and released from suffering, then we can feel joy. In addition, we feel joy when we remember how grateful we are to have had them in our lives and the memories they graciously gave us. 
I have many fond memories of grand holiday's playing Wii bowling, being taught how to go a proper mustache, and being around a loving man. Will not forget and will always be in my heart.

In memory and celebration of my dad's and his sister, Aunt Angie's life, I write the Lord's words of encouragement to my family:

Therefore you now have sorrow; but I (says Jesus) will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.  
John 16:22

Therefore, we do not lose heart.  Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  
2 Cor. 4:16-18 

And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.  For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with Him the believers who have died.  
1 Thessalonians. 4:13-14

HEAVEN: Look, God's home is now among His people!  He will live with them, and they will be His people.  God Himself will be with them.  He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain.  All these things are gone forever.  All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.  
Rev. 21:3-4,7

May God give you comfort and peace in knowing that Daddy and Aunt Angie were believers and we will see them again!  Wish I could be with you all this week....missing you - with much love, kathy

Besides being the best Father anyone could ask for, Dad has been my best friend throughout my Life. 
We have shared many good times. I will miss those times Forever. Especially our weekly lunches every Sunday. 
I am so proud of the way he handled the last few months, if there was a medal to be given for courage he should get it. His struggle is over and we pray that God may grant him peace now at his rest.

I loved Carmelo when he first moved into the Preserve at Palm Aire!! He was a strikingly handsome man, dressed extremely well and was very dignified. I had the pleasure of playing checkers with him on a few occasions, and listened to a joke or two that he would tell. He will be truly missed as a part of the family at The Preserve at Palm Aire. Rest Well my friend.

Carmelo G. Adamo, 87, entered into rest on October 3, 2015. He was born on September 7, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York. Carl is the beloved father of four children, Cosmo Adamo, Lucille Adamo, Kathy Adamo Blair and Stephen Adamo. Loving brother of Mary Sagristano and he was previously deceased by his loved brother and sister, Vito Adamo and Angie Romano. Loving Grandfather of Katie Walsh, Christina Hays, Mark T. Hays and Fred Boisvert.  He was also survived by many loving extended family members.  All who knew him loved him and he will be forever in our hearts.
