Dear John and Rose....
     I have never had the pleasure of meeting John and this beautiful young woman...but I do know the awful grief of losing a child. It is so far away from the natural order of life and my heart is so heavy realizing your pain. Her life was very special and had tremendous meaning. I hope that time and the loving support of friends and family bring you comfort, peace and understanding. May you be blessed with evidence that she rests in Heaven, and smile when you feel the warmth of happy memories.     Pamela Shaw

I'm glad I had the opportunity to get to know such a beautiful person and honor her relief efforts and all she did for those in need in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.  May she rest in peace.

I hope that you and your family can somehow find some peace during this difficult time.  I'm not sure where you will find the strength to carry on, but I do know you will find it somewhere.  God has his reasons for taking some of us so young, but unfortunately He doesn't share his thoughts and reasons with us.   That's when we need to trust and put our faith in Him.

A Beautiful Inside & Out WAY too young Girl that I've know since I was young because this was my brothers best friend. Cassandra was So Smart and impacted So Many people's lives! This still doesn't feel real...it doesn't feel like it was her time yet..I wish it wasn't real but as horrible it is. All I have done since is constantly think about her and her family and how much they must be going through! Me and my children keep you guys in our prayers daily. If you guys...Cassandra's dad, mom, JR, any other family or close friends hurting right now from this beautiful angel passing need ANYTHING literally anything..
