As we prepared to load the plane to London from Chicago, Brad asked if he could sit with me. On that long flight, I learned a lot about his school, friends, family, and his love of swimming, which I shared. Being a bit older than Brad, I already had my college ideas made, but he told me his dream was to swim at Illinois. We spent many bus rides, lunches, and museum explorations together, and each day he was sweet and fun to be around. I never saw him again after that summer trip, but his memory stayed with me for many years. I hope his dreams all came true and that he had a fabulous life full of laughter and love. 

I went on the Europe trip with Brad in the summer of 1972.  He had a special way about him that made you want to spend time with him.  He had a wonderful smile and a loving spirit.  I lost track of him over time, but reconnected on facebook several years ago.  I will always remember him as a boy, not quite a man, but have special memories of the time shared together far away from home.  I am so sorry for your loss.

I cherish the memories I have of Jeff, Brad, and family Bob and Sue and our family Ann, Jane, B.W.,and Ben and I. We were all Truly Blessed.

 When my sister Ann passed away in November I spoke to Brad.  He called me at home one evening and we had a nice visit about Ann and growing up together.  I have the greatest of memories for Brad and his brother Jeff.  Brad and Jeff were some of the greatest swimmers Marion will ever see.  He was blessed with a wonderful wife Lorin who was always by his side.  He was also blessed with wonderful parents and a great brother. Jane Bruce

How can we ever forget meeting Brad and his beautiful wife, Lorin??  It was through the two of you that Bruce and I met and have now been married for 11 years.  You offered Wava your chair (of course you did) that night, and never forgot one of our wedding anniversaries (you kept reminding us that we got married on HItler birthday!!).  Then there were the great halloween and New Year Eve Parties.......who knew we could fit 300 people in Richie Reggiani's house??  We will miss you and never forget you.
