Claire Noonan O'Malley

died on January 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by

her parents, Edward Francis Noonan, Sr. and Olive (nee

Carr) Noonan; three sisters, Catherine Smith, Olive Noonan,

and Virginia Szabo; a brother, Edward F. Noonan, Jr. and her husband

Theodore J. O’Malley.

Claire is survived by her three stepchildren, Theodore J.

(Suzanne) O’Malley III of Denver, CO, Cardinal Sean O’Malley, OFM Cap

of Boston, MA and Mary (Craig) Woods of San Miguel de Allende, MX as

well as by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Claire

was an avid bridge player, reader, traveler, and crossword puzzler. She will

be missed by her many friends and relatives for her

quick wit and intellectual curiosity.

A Wake and Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.;

Rosary at 6:45 p.m. 1100 North Federal Highway Boca Raton, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial

will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31 at St. Ambrose Catholic

Church in Deerfield Beach. Entombment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery

in North Lauderdale. The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Catholic Relief Service,
