Dana Jerrene Wheeler, 45, Deerfield Beach, died August 1, 2014, fighting breast cancer. Born to Damon and Judith Wheeler on October 22, 1968 in Niagara Falls, NY. She graduated with honors from Bay St. Louis High School (MS) in 1986. She graduated cum laude from Mississippi State with a BS in Mathematics. She worked for Siemens in Munich, Germany for 6 years. At the time of her passing, she was living in Deerfield Beach and working as a software engineer for Emerson. She was not defined by career, ambition, nor her struggles in life, but by her friends. Dana lived life to the fullest and was an avid skier, soccer and volleyball player. She is survived by her parents, three brothers, seven nieces and nephews, and countless friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014, at 4:00 pm, Reception following. It will take place at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 5873 North Dean Road, Orlando, FL 32817.The family is extremely grateful to all Dana's friends that have been by her side throughout her life.Arrangements under the direction of Babione Funeral Home, Boca Raton, FL.
