Debra Ann Griffiths

July 23, 1956 – February 22, 2016

Debra Ann (Pritts) Griffiths, 59, formerly of Somerset, Pennsylvania, passed away February 22, 2016 in Boca Raton, Florida after a battle with cancer.

Debbie was born in Somerset, Pennsylvania to Doris and Guy Pritts on July 23, 1956. She went to high school in Somerset and graduated in 1974. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Chatham College in Pittsburgh. It was in Pittsburgh where she met, fell in love with and married Wayne Griffiths, to whom she was married until his passing in 2005.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Doris and Guy Pritts, and her husband, Wayne Griffiths.

She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Alison (Boca Raton), her aunt, Patricia Ward (Frostburg, MD), her two sisters Sandra (Pittsburgh, PA) and Sherry (Lewisburg, PA), and nieces and nephews, Michael, Jenny, Maurice and Janelle.

Visitation will be held at Babione Funeral Home in Boca Raton, Florida on Saturday, January 27, 2016 at 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Services will follow at 1:00PM with Reverend Ray Wehrenberg officiating. Friends and family are invited to join us at the family home at 11058 Harbour Springs Circle, Boca Raton, Florida after services.
