Domenic Richard Rizzo

Born and raised In Watertown, NY, the son of Nelson “James” and Mary Rizzo. He worked on the Rizzo farm along with his five siblings. One of his favorite memories was delivering fresh vegetables to Watertown’s orphanage. Domenic graduated from Watertown High School in 1957 as a decorated wrestler for the Cyclones. Soon after graduation, he served in the United States Navy, stationed in Hawaii. He served as a Morse Code operator and was a member of the Navy wrestling team. One of his proudest Navy wrestling career accomplishments was qualifying for the USA Olympic wrestling team trials.

Married Donna Joyner , October 15, 1966, raised three children in Watertown NY where he created a National Real Estate agency franchise and was parishioner of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

In 1980, Domenic relocated his family to Boca Raton, FL, where he continued his real estate career. Well respected, he received over 80 professional awards and accreditations including “Person of the Year” by the Real Estate Directors of Florida in 1994 and the Gold Coast Builders Association Sales Director of the Year in 1993. He authored numerous sales and training manuals over his professional career. He served Cadillac Fairview, Radice Corporation, Lexington Homes, UDC Homes, and Engle Homes primarily as Marketing and Sales Director. He proudly launched his own Real Estate Agency, Rimada Reality, as Owner and President in 2003.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Rizzo; his son, Peter Rizzo and wife, April Rizzo; grandsons Max Domenic Rizzo and Nathaniel James Rizzo, step granddaughters Bailey Brite, and Brooklin Brite, daughter Jennifer Bailey and husband Robert Bailey; his son Marc Rizzo.

His charisma, limitless energy and optimism were infectious. Domenic was a loving husband and caring father. He considered anyone who worked with him or knew him part of his family. He will be truly missed

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 , from 3pm to 7pm, at Babione - Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton , FL 33432. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 10:00am, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 21689 Toledo Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33433.
