I remember the day Joe and I moved into our house on Winchmore . Dom and Rita lived in the house directly across the street from ours. The year was 1996 we pulled into our driveway and all of a sudden we hear these two people come running out yelling welcome neighbor's and so began a 20 year friendship with the Laforgia's. I could write a book of memories but it would take a lifetime to read so I won't.We just want to share what a good , kind,wonderful man that Dominic was. Our hearts are breaking dear friend RIP we will miss you we love you and Rita Sincerely Pat and Joe Banister

Dear cousin Rita & the Laforgia family,
First, let me say how sorry we are to have lost Dom. He may have been small in stature but he had a big personality for sure. Over the years that we've lived in Florida, we visited back & forth with each other . We ate,drank, laughed & just enjoyed that comfortable friendship we shared.  We certainly will miss you cousin & just know we will always be there for your Rita. Rest in peace & we'll see you on the other side.   We will keep all of you in prayer through this difficult time. Bonnie and I enjoyed many wonderful times with Dom and Rita over the years.  From visiting their summer home in Moscow to the Vegas Strip!  Dominic will certainly be missed....................but never forgotten.

Don was a great man I looked up to him as my big brother I never
had. We had the love of baseball so did my Dad and my cousin Tom. You will  be greatly missed. God bless u cuz.

I was fortunate to consider myself a close friend of Dominic’s. Playing softball with or against Dom for 22 years, we became close. Soon there were four couples, Dom & Rita, George & Bonnie Fitz, George Munger& Dee, and Bea & me. Dom came up with a name for our group “Just Us”.  We went on trips, softball tournaments, a “tops down tour” and having meals together in each others homes or restaurants. He always started with a toast” Just Us”. Dom and George Munger will always be with “Just Us”. I thank God we met and
you will remain close in our hearts.
