Dear Dylan,

I am so heartbroken to hear of your passing.  I was in your class in 4th grade and I still remember racing to the swings on the playground with you.  You are sorely missed.  I am sorry I did not reach out to you sooner.

Dylan was the most remarkable personI have ever had the pro lage to know and love. He is my Son forever. My inspiration. He was the rarest of people. Kind, insightful, beautiful, frail and brave. His gifts were many. Music, literature, poetry and languages were Arts that Dylan Mastered. Most remarkable was his Faith and pride in being a Jew. His Faith was unquestioned. He was the rarest of people: kind, humble, loving, joyful and simultaneously brillant, gifted as few can ever know and always grounded by his Faith. 

I miss Dylan everyday. I speak to him daily as he was before me. I feel such sorrow that he was denied life. Only through remembrance of his beauty, brilliance and innocence can I bare the day. He was my life's purpose from birth and remains my life's  true love and reason for living.  Dylan's Father,
