3/5/36 - 10/13/26
Edmond Mashamesh, 90, passed away peacefully on October 13th, 2026, leaving a legacy of dedication, accomplishments, and love for his entire family.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Joseph and Julia Mashamesh, he lived a remarkable life to include service to his country and a commitment to education with a distinguished career in accounting.
He proudly served in the United States Navy on many ships which concluded aboard the USS Newport News, receiving an honorable discharge following his service. His time in the Navy was an important chapter in his life and afforded him the opportunity to attend college.
He sought his higher education first at Florida Atlantic University receiving his Bachelor's degree, and then to the University of Miami where he received his Masters in Accounting. This education laid the foundation for a successful career spanning six decades and multiple companies. He ended that career with Middleby Oven Systems where he served as an actuary. This position allowed him to travel the world to monitor and maintain its various factories. He always brought something back that gave a taste of the culture and experience that he had.
He was devoted to his family, sharing his life with his beloved wife, Patsey Mashamesh, who preceded him in death. He was also the proud father of Emily DeRosa.
He will be forever remembered for the life he built, the experience he shared, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him. I hope that he rests in peace, reunited with his one true love and forever remembered by those he touched.
