These little beauties are missing the best grandfather they could have ever had the joy and happiness of knowing. I tell them often of what a wonderful grandfather you could have been to them. 15 years and you are so missed.

Condolences to his family.  I was sorry to learn of Ed’s passing.  Ed was a co-worker, during his climb  to success within the Company, he remained the kind, empathetic, and honest man that I have known.  RIP my Dear Friend🙏🙏🙏

It’s been 11 long years and tomorrow is your 71st birthday. We all wish you were still here to be the great grandfather we all knew you would have been. I show the children pictures of you and tell them how much fun you would have been . Rest In Peace ,  you are missed every day.

Hi Dad! I miss you so much! There is not a day that doesn't pass that I don't think of you. It will be a year tomorrow that you left us and I still can't believe it. Thank you for being such a wonderful father to me. I cannot thank you enough for everything you've done for me you gave me an amazing 20 years of life. I can't imagine my life today if it wasn't for you and Mom. I hide my pain daily and try to think you're still here with me but I miss hearing your voice. I hate thinking about that I won't ever be able to talk to you again. I love you and miss you so much. I think back through my year since you passed and I always put myself down... saying that a year has already past and I've done nothing but a lot has changed there so many things I've experienced in the past year. A lot of amazing people have stepped in my path and I think you've guided me to everything that has happened and I thank you for that. Almost a year now..your guest book will soon close, your house remains barren...soon your memory will begin to fade for many. A man that was so alive is no longer. Life is such a funny thing. You have taught me to live each day as if it was your last, for you never know. Hope everyone is enjoying your wonderful laugh in Heaven. I remember Ed from back in the 70's and was on the computer looking up old friends and was stunned to see his obituary.  He had a special place in my heart for many years. The world became a lot less fun on October 9th.  Ed - you were one of my very favorite people and I'm going to miss you a lot.  You will always be a part of us - your music, your laughter, your Braves, your books, your Tanquerey and your cordless drill. The legacy you left were your high standards of dignity,morales,generosity,and responsibility. These are standards we all need to strive for in life.
I will never forget the last time we were together in florida and took the dogs to the dog park. Fran really enjoyed organizing and cleaning out your pantry. We all enjoyed ourselves.
I also want to thank you again for taking my boys and I to the Dolphins game. Your generosity and kindness will not be forgotten.

Still can't believe you are not here on this earth anymore. You were a person you noticed...You stood out from the crowd. You did the right thing. You had high morals & standards-not just for you but for all you knew. Gave great advice. So intelligent and knowledgeable. I wish your story would have ended differently, but I guess you have proven the age old saying that yes it is true: Only the good die young. May you enjoy your sleep and may we all be satisfied that we were the lucky few who knew you.

dear Ed, in the memories of the people whose lives you touched, you will most certainly live on -- I have many memories of you but what I think of when I think of you is your booming joyful laugh, your unselfish generous personality and your desire to always want to make the people in your life happy - the joy you brought into the lives of so many.  I think of your passion for music - I couldn't believe the size of your CD collection the first time I saw it! I remember you singing "Crash" as if you were really performing it on stage although you were only in your own family room - the overwhelming passion you had about anything you loved: football, books, your job, Sam Kennison, the Bee Gees, your dogs and most of all, your family.  I am proud to have been a part of your extended family - thank you for all that you did for my daughters and me.  I will always be grateful to you and my sister for bringing my daughters and me to Oregon, a place you loved and that we dearly love too. I will mostly remember our lively discussions about the books we'd both read or the books you had already read and thought I should read too.  The last time we talked on the phone, we were both miserable that Robert Parker had died and there would be no closure to Spencer's life - I only hope now you will be discussing Spencer with Robert Parker himself once you find him in heaven.  You will never be forgotten Ed for we will think of you and speak of you often in the coming years. We are just so sorry you had to leave us so soon. It is very sad to hear about a guy who was such a kind and wonderful person. Who's life impacted so many to include my own. Knowing Ed in the Portland Office when he was our VP and memories of how he would take the time to pat me on the back and tell me he loved my enthusiasm and appreciated all I did was more than words and how he carried himself with such quality leadership and strength.
