Eleanore Fontana, 88 years old of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on October 25th. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, who grew up in Massachusetts and raised her family in Enfield, Ct. Eleanore adored spending time with her family and many friends. She especially treasured time with her grandsons. Eleanore enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, volunteering at church and collecting shells, sea glass, and angels. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 67 years, Joseph B. Fontana and three daughters, Nancy Connito and her husband Richard, Joyce Fontana and her husband John Krawczyk, and Holly Galinskie and her husband Joe. Eleanore was blessed with six grandsons, Ben and Adam Connito, Andrew and Daniel Siok, and Mason and Matthew Galinskie. She also had three great grandchildren, Theodore, Vivienne, and Annika Siok. The family requests any donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A visitation for Eleanore will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, FL 33428, followed by a funeral service from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
