Nanny was a glamorous lady who prided herself on her appearance and fashionable tastes. Her love of shopping and make up is certainly something that has been inherited by her grand daughters and great grand daughters.  She loved nothing more then to be dressed in her best in church on a Sunday morning with Grandpa on her arm. This memory of Nanny is something I will always treasure.  I hope now she has been reunited her with handsome husband and is dressed in her Sunday Best and is happy and at peace.

I will remember you for a lot of things Nanny, so thought I'd write a little list of the stuff that will make me smile whenever I think of you...

- You trying to convince Mum and Dad that they should buy me a horse when I was 15.  It didn't work but thanks for trying!

- Your amazing roast dinners, especially the roast potatoes, the roast chicken, the stuffing, well everything really!!
 
- Our trips to Carlos ice-cream parlour.  Grandpa would always chat to Carlo and we'd sit in the huge garden and eat not one, but 2 (!) ice-creams because we always needed 'one for the road'

- Our overnight sleepovers and how I would always crawl into yours and Grandpa's bed (it was cosy and warm because of the electric blanket) and the tick tock of Grandpa's clock

- Telling me the importance of make-up, perfume and most of all, jewellery!!

- Your burger sugo.  I've tried to replicate it many times since but have never managed to make it the same way. 

- You and Grandpa laughing, and how he used to call you Nanny and ask what was for lunch

- How you made me soup when my braces were tightened and I couldn't eat anything because my mouth was so sore

- That yellow bunny jumper you knitted for me when I was a young teenager, when I was trying desperately to wear 'cool' clothes instead.  I wore it anyway!

I will carry these fond memories of you wherever I go.  Please give Grandpa a big cuddle for me.

Grandma Frances Josephine Bianchi, you were a wonderful lady. Rest in peace, we will remember you.

    I am sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family during these difficult times. Love you. Armando, Maria, Gino and Vanda.

Frances was a role model in the family and will be honored and respected. I had the chance to visit my brother in FL a few times and saw how the relationship she had with her family was so close and loving. She adores her 3 grandkids and they loved her as much; this is how a family should be. 
I adore Frances, she was kind. I miss those good times in FL.
Rest in peace Frances, will miss you.

 I've never had the pleasure of meeting your grandmother.  Through my dear friend Lisien and siblings that have been in my life through out the past years,  I could only imagine how amazing of a human being she was in your lives and is in your hearts.  I feel that you have another loving soul looking over you all to protect you in this life.  My heart goes out to you and your family~

Nana Francis was so special to me. I met her couple of time, but during my years trying to get into medical school, she prayed for me every step of the way. Every big exam, school application, and school interview. I know without a doubt that me finally getting here has something to do what her countless prayers. The world will be a sadder, darker place without you Nana. You will forever live in my heart.

Nanny was the greatest grandmother any little girl could have. She was the epitome of everything "girlie." I remember from a very young age sitting on Nanny's bed in England playing with make up and painting nails. Towards the latter end of life, we would jovially comment on how we started out with Nanny painting my nails and now I paint hers. I remember in great detail Nanny teaching me how to cook a few different things when I was about 8 years old, especially her pasta sauce, her homemade cheese sauce for lasagna and her cottage pie. Nanny taught me how to iron, how to knit, and how to crochet among so many other things. Nanny was a kind woman who prided herself on a well kept home, organized life and stunning appearance! Not one day would go by that Nanny was not dressed in a fully planned outfit, complete with matching set of jewelry, hair and makeup, no matter if she would not go anywhere that day. I was always in awe of how she managed to always shine, as I'm sure all of us have our days, here and there, that we don't even leave our pajamas! lol Being blessed enough to have Nanny here in South Florida with us has made such a difference in my life. She has been an unfaltering support of everything I do. It was often that Nanny and I discussed what I had coming up so that she may insert her requests for my success into her prayers. When things weren't looking up we got a "Nanny" wink and an "I love you with alllll my heart" in that sweet Scottish voice. There are no words to describe the sadness in my heart. The tearing I feel in her absence and the loss I know the entire family feels. I will miss Nanny more than anyone will know. I just hold on to the idea that she is happy now with Grandpa and happily reunited with Dad.  I will love you always my dearest Nanny. Now rest in peace xoxoxo
