Uncle Frank was a true patriot who loved his country and was proud of his service in the United States Navy during WW 2.  He often told stories about his experiences in war, and he felt God had protected him from harm more than once. He loved his family  and his life growing up in the Bronx, NY. But above all, Frank treasured his beloved wife Mary. He felt destined to share his life with her and loved to tell the story about how they  met. They went to junior high school together and were even in the same class photo, but they never knew one another until, by kismet, years later they were co-workers at the same company. His happiest days were the many years they spent together in New York and in Boca Raton. Frank was an extremely  intelligent man who remained sharp witted all the days of his life. He knew he was lucky to have found his true soul mate in Aunt Mary. The hope is that they are reunited and  sharing in God’s eternal love and  life.

To my beloved Uncle Frank, a good man who led a good life.  He was a kind man who taught me how to properly throw a football and how to read the NYSE stock symbols when I was a boy.  May his memory live forever and his soul rest in peace.

And I’ll never forget how many people stopped by to thank him for his service. Of course, he never went anywhere without donning his navy cap.
Thank you Uncle, you gave us love, laughter, and a lifetime of stories. We were lucky to know you, and we’ll carry your spirit with us always.

And I’m grateful that Bran and I convinced him to come out of hibernation for his 99th birthday last May, his last with us,

I’m so thankful that our family shared many joyful memories with Uncle Frank in my home-chef Mario’s zuppa de pesce, Aunt Mary’s famous stuffed mushrooms and cherry cheese cake,

Although they now have both passed, their memory will live on through those that loved them. There is comfort in knowing they are once again together again and at peace.

Uncle Frank and Aunt Mary were timeless! A perfect pair that enjoyed each other immensely which made visiting so special. On this particular visit, Uncle Frank shared quite a bit about his military service abroad and brought out photos and memorabilia that was fascinating! Some of the items definitely museum worthy.

A toast to  the  wonderful experience of love and family.  We will always remember sharing our special moments.

Such a magical time when Uncle Frank walked me down the aisle and we had that first dance at my wedding!! He was full of life and joy!
