Daddy, it was an honor to be your daughter. I will always remember your pearls of wisdom like "if you can't make noth ends meet, make one vegetable." I hope I am able to have a long happy life like you. I'm not sure how I will manage without you coming to get a drink with the comment " I'm dry as a bone." I'm guessing you have already asked for a hammer in heaven so you can start remodeling something. I love you very much and will miss you with all my heart. Rest in peace, daddy.

Dear Gail and Family: I am sorry to read of your father's passing. I remember many times when he would yell at us kids in Aqua Vista for some stupid thing we were doing but should not have been doing. He was a determined man and his 97 years are proof of a long and fulfilling life. My thoughts are with you. Lauren (DeGrosse) McIntosh (Rich G's sister)

Gail;
I am sorry to have read of the passing of your dad. I know from our conversations how much you loved him.He lived a long and good life and you have all of those memories that can not be taken away. We all hurt when we lose someone we love. But look at it that you have that love inside you and no one can take that from you.Just think your dad is now sitting at the right hand of god with his great big smile looking down over you. You know i am here if you need me or want to talk.

Gail; May this candle give your father so that he can find his way in his new after life. May it give him the warmth to let him know how much you loved him.

Will miss you Uncle Fred. I'll always remember growing up hanging out at the lake on week-ends, your constant barrage of jokes, the summer I worked with you - watching you grab 90 pound bales of shingles and run up a ladder with them. And of course, your mastery of the s l o w crawl! Love you forever, your nephew Mike.

Daddy, you were the best father a girl could ever have!
You taught me to take care of myself, so I would always have someone I could count on.
You taught me that I could do anything that I put my mind to, then you set me free to try.
You taught me to be strong, even when it hurts...a lot!
You taught me that sheetrock can be cut and folded in half, as long as I don't tear the backing (an important lesson that proved useful many times!)
You taught me that protecting your family requires a strong backbone, and sometimes a 2x4!
But most of all, you taught me that a life well lived is a life worth living.
On January 3, at 1:55 am, I lost my hero.
On January 3, at 1:56 am, I felt the weight of your cape fall squarely on my shoulders.
I just hope I'm worthy, daddy.
